Transferring your LINE account with Smart Switch on Galaxy devices

You can only use this feature on your main device (typically your smartphone).

Important: This feature is only available to users in Japan.

Even if you used Galaxy's Smart Switch to transfer your data, you still need to manually transfer your LINE account.

To transfer your LINE account, refer to the steps below.

When transferring data from iOS to a Galaxy device, you can transfer the following items.

• Text messages
• Stickers
• Call history
• Photos
• Videos
• Files
To transfer your LINE account:
1. Open LINE on the main device your account is registered to.
2. On the Welcome back screen that appears, tap either Continue with Google, Continue with Apple, or Log in with phone number.

If you selected Continue with Google/Continue with Apple 3. Follow the on-screen instructions to log in.
4. Confirm the "Regarding Usage of Your Information" consent screen.
Note: In some cases, this screen won't appear.

If you selected Log in with phone number 3. Select your country, enter your phone number, check the Terms and Conditions of Use and Privacy Policy, then tap right arrow > OK.
4. Enter the verification code you received via text message.
Note: On some devices, the verification code is entered automatically. In this case, skip to the next step.
5. Enter your password and tap right arrow.

6. Choose whether to add friends from your contacts, then tap right arrow.
7. Confirm the "Regarding Usage of Your Information" consent screen.
Note: In some cases, this screen won't appear.
