Android Auto lets you use your Android device (main or sub device) in your car.

You can receive LINE app notifications via your car's infotainment system while driving from LINE version 15.15.1 if:
• You're using the LINE app on an Android device.
• Your car's infotainment system is equipped with the Android Auto system.

Connecting your Android device
To receive LINE app notifications with Android Auto:
• Connect your Android device (main or sub device) to your car's infotainment system by following the instructions in Set up Android Auto.
• Log in to the Google account you're logged in to on your Android device.

If your main device is an iPhone and your sub device is an Android smartphone or tablet, you can use Android Auto by connecting your Android sub device to it.


Notification settings
Receiving notifications
With Android Auto, you can receive notifications via your car's infotainment system for the group and 1-on-1 chats you've enabled notifications for in the LINE app on your Android device (main or sub device).
Note: You will receive notifications for the messages you receive while using your car's infotainment system.

Muting notifications
If you want to mute LINE app notifications via Android Auto, tap bell icon with a line through it inside a message when a notification appears on the screen of your car's infotainment system. This will stop notifications from appearing on the screen.

Unmuting notifications
To unmute LINE app notifications on Android Auto, see the steps below.
Note: These steps and labels may differ depending on your device and car model.

1. Tap the number and time of received messages shown on the Android Auto menu bar.
2. Tap bell icon with a line through it in a message.
