Emoji are illustrations that you can insert into text messages. When you send only one to three emoji, they will appear as stickers instead of within a chat balloon. You can also use them as reactions.

Purchasing emoji:
You can only use this feature on your main device (typically your smartphone).

Purchased items cannot be canceled or returned.

- You need to use Coins to purchase emoji. Be sure to purchase Coins beforehand.
- If you're using LINE for PC, you can purchase emoji on LINE STORE.
- You can go to the emoji purchase screen by tapping an emoji sent in a chat.
- Items that are or may be generated or modified by AI are marked with AI icon.
To purchase emoji:
1. Open LINE on the main device your LINE account is registered to.
2. Tap the Home tab > Stickers > the EMOJI tab.
3. Tap the emoji you want to purchase.
4. Tap Purchase.
Note: If you don't have enough Coins, tap OK and then purchase the required amount of Coins.

By tapping the heart icon on the side of the emoji set screen, you can add emoji that interest you to your wish list, then check back on them later. Your wish list can only be viewed by you as long as you don't change your privacy settings.

You can check your emoji purchase history with the following steps.

To check your emoji purchase history:
1. Open LINE on the main device your LINE account is registered to.
2. Tap the Home tab > Settings > Stickers.
3. Tap Purchase history > the Emoji tab.


Sending emoji:
Main device 1. Tap sticker icon to the right of the chat text box.
2. Switch to emoji from the left side of the sticker list menu.
3. Tap the emoji set you want to use.

Sub device
iPad/Android 1. Tap sticker icon to the right of the chat text box.
2. Switch to emoji from the left side of the sticker list menu.
3. Tap the emoji set you want to use.

Windows/Mac/Chrome 1. Click sticker icon at the bottom of a chat.
2. Click the Emoji tab.
3. Click the emoji you want to use.

You can send emoji with text; however, when you send one to three emoji alone, they will appear as stickers instead of within a chat balloon. You can also use the suggestion feature to enter emoji.


Changing the order of/deleting/re-downloading emoji sets:

- You can download up to 1,000 emoji sets.
- This limit applies to LINE version 15.14.0 or later on iPhone and iPad.
- If you reached the limit, please delete any emoji sets you no longer use before downloading new ones.
- When you delete an emoji set, it will no longer be available for use until you download it again.
Changing the order of emoji sets in chats
You can use this feature on LINE versions aside from LINE for PC (sub device).

To reorder the emoji set icons that appear under the chat text box (after you tap the emoji icon), drag and drop the emoji set icons where you want them.

Changing the order of/deleting emoji sets from Sticker set order
You can use this feature on LINE versions aside from LINE for Chrome (sub device).
Main device 1. Tap the Home tab > Settings > Stickers.
2. Tap Sticker set order > the Emoji tab.
3. Tap and hold drag handle icon for the emoji set you want to change the order of, and move it to where you want it.
Note: To delete the emoji set, tap minus icon > Delete.

Sub device
iPad 1. Tap Settings > Stickers.
2. Tap Sticker set order > the Emoji tab.
3. Tap and hold drag handle icon for the emoji set you want to change the order of, and move it to where you want it.
Note: To delete the emoji set, tap minus icon > Delete.

Android 1. Tap the Home tab > Settings > Stickers.
2. Tap Sticker set order > the Emoji tab.
3. Tap and hold drag handle icon for the emoji set you want to change the order of, and move it to where you want it.
Note: To delete the emoji set, tap minus icon > Delete.

Windows/Mac You can only change the order of emoji sets on LINE for Windows/Mac.

1. Click sticker icon at the bottom of a chat.
2. Click the menu icon at the top right of the screen.
Note:
- If you're using LINE Stickers Premium, click My Stickers.
- LINE Stickers Premium is only available in Indonesia, Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand.
3. Click the Emoji tab.
4. Click and hold reorder icon to the left of an item, then drag the item to your preferred location.

Re-downloading emoji sets
You can use this feature on LINE versions aside from LINE for PC (sub device).

You can use emoji by downloading them again if:
• You want to use an emoji set you deleted again.
• You transferred your LINE account.
• You reinstalled the LINE app.

To re-download an emoji set:
Main device 1. Tap the Home tab > Settings > Stickers.
2. Tap My Stickers > the Emoji tab.
3. Tap Download all or download icon .

Sub device
iPad 1. Tap Settings > Stickers.
2. Tap My Stickers > the Emoji tab.
3. Tap Download all or download icon .

Android 1. Tap the Home tab > Settings > Stickers.
2. Tap My Stickers > the Emoji tab.
3. Tap Download all or download icon .


[Windows/Mac] Hiding/showing emoji sets:
1. Click sticker icon at the bottom of a chat.
2. Click the menu icon at the top right of the screen.
Note:
- If you're using LINE Stickers Premium, click My Stickers.
- LINE Stickers Premium is only available in Indonesia, Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand.
3. Click the Emoji tab.
4. Click Hide icon to the right of the item.

To unhide an emoji set, click Show icon to the right of it or Show all at the bottom of the screen.
Note: Be aware that clicking Show all will display all items on the screen.
