Data collected from the "Share location with LINE" setting and its usage

You can only use this feature on your main device (typically your smartphone).

To provide better service to our users on LINE, you will see a consent screen for the collection of location information.

This is aimed at providing information that can help ensure your safety and be useful in your daily life, based on your location information.

By consenting, we hope to send you important notifications (e.g. emergency alerts during large-scale disasters), updates on weather changes around your current location, and information about coupons available at nearby stores.

To change access to your location information: 

1. Open LINE on the main device your account is registered to. 

2. Tap the Home tab > > Privacy. 

3. Tap Provide usage data and turn ON or OFF Share location with LINE.
