You can use this feature on LINE versions aside from LINE for Chrome (sub device).

Keep Memo is your own personal chat that only you can see.
Note: If you don't see the Keep Memo chat, update LINE to the latest version.

The Keep Memo chat cannot be renamed and its profile picture cannot be changed. Also, it does not have features like Notes and Albums, and it cannot be deleted or duplicated.

- Photos, videos, and other files sent in chats (including Keep Memo) are only saved on our servers for a certain amount of time.
- After the storage period has ended, you will not be able to view, download, or send/receive the relevant content.
- We cannot disclose how long files are stored on our servers.

Opening Keep Memo:
To open Keep Memo, use any of the methods below.
Main device • Tap the Home tab > Keep Memo (the bookmark icon) at the top of the screen.
• Tap the Home tab > your profile > Keep Memo.
• Tap the Chats tab > the Keep Memo chat.
• Tap plus icon at the bottom of a chat > Keep Memo.

Sub device
iPad/Android • Tap the Home tab > Keep Memo (the bookmark icon) at the top of the screen.
• Tap the Home tab > your profile > Keep Memo.
• Tap the Chats tab > the Keep Memo chat.
• Tap plus icon at the bottom of a chat > Keep Memo.

Windows • Click Chats > the Keep Memo chat, then send text, links, photos, videos, or other files.
• Click Send to Keep Memo under the item, or right-click an item that was shared in a chat and click Send to Keep Memo.
• To share photos or videos from a folder on your device, click Share > LINE > Keep Memo > Share.

Mac • Click Chats > the Keep Memo chat, then send text, links, photos, videos, or other files.
• Click Send to Keep Memo under the item, or right-click an item that was shared in a chat and click Send to Keep Memo.


Using Keep Memo:
Sending items to Keep Memo To send items to Keep Memo, use one of the methods below.
Main device • Tap the Chats tab > the Keep Memo chat, then send text, links, photos, videos, or other files.
• Tap and hold an item shared in a chat > Keep Memo > Send.
• When sharing content from another app or a website, tap the share icon > LINE > Keep Memo > Share.
• Tap an official account's profile icon > options icon at the top of the screen > Share > Keep Memo > Share.

Sub device
iPad/Android • Tap the Chats tab > the Keep Memo chat, then send text, links, photos, videos, or other files.
• Tap and hold an item shared in a chat > Keep Memo > Send.
• When sharing content from another app or a website, tap the share icon > LINE > Keep Memo > Share.
• Tap an official account's profile icon > options icon at the top of the screen > Share > Keep Memo > Share.

Windows/Mac • Click Chats > the Keep Memo chat, then send text, links, photos, videos, or other files.

Pinning your Keep Memo chat to the top of your chat list
Main device 1. Tap the Chats tab.
2. For iPhone users: Swipe right on the Keep Memo chat, and then tap pin icon.
    For Android users: Tap and hold the Keep Memo chat > Pin chat.

Sub device
iPad/Android 1. Tap the Chats tab.
2. For iPad users: Swipe right on the Keep Memo chat, and then tap pin icon.
    For Android users: Tap and hold the Keep Memo chat > Pin chat.

Windows/Mac 1. Click Chats > select the Keep Memo chat and then right-click it.
2. Click Pin chat.

Hiding/unhiding the Keep Memo chat
To Hide the Keep Memo chat:
Main device 1. Tap the Chats tab.
2. For iPhone users: Swipe left on the Keep Memo chat > Hide > Hide.
    For Android users: Tap and hold the Keep Memo chat > Hide > Hide.

Sub device
iPad/Android 1. Tap the Chats tab.
2. For iPad users: Swipe left on the Keep Memo chat > Hide > Hide.
    For Android users: Tap and hold the Keep Memo chat > Hide > Hide.

Windows/Mac 1. Click Chats > right-click the Keep Memo chat.
2. Click Hide > Hide.

To unhide the Keep Memo chat:
Main device 1. Tap the Home tab > Settings > Chats > Hidden chats.
2. Tap Edit next to Keep Memo > Unhide chat.

Sub device
iPad 1. Tap Settings > Chats > Hidden chats.
2. Tap Edit next to Keep Memo > Unhide chat.

Android 1. Tap the Home tab > Settings > Chats > Hidden chats.
2. Tap Edit next to Keep Memo > Unhide chat.

Windows/Mac 1. Click Settings icon at the bottom of the main menu > Settings.
2. Click Chats.
3. From Hidden chats, click Unhide next to Keep Memo.

Deleting items you sent to Keep Memo
Main device 1. Tap the Chats tab > the Keep Memo chat.
2. Tap and hold the item you want to delete.
3. Tap Delete or Unsend.

Sub device
iPad/Android 1. Tap the Chats tab > the Keep Memo chat.
2. Tap and hold the item you want to delete.
3. Tap Delete or Unsend.

Windows/Mac 1. Click Chats > the Keep Memo chat.
2. Right-click the item you want to delete.
3. Click Delete or Unsend.

Note: You can unsend messages in chats within the time limit after sending them.

Downloading items you sent to Keep Memo to your device
Main device 1. Tap the Home tab > Keep Memo (the bookmark icon) at the top of the screen.
2. Tap menu icon at the top of the screen > the tab that has the item you want to download.
3. Tap the item you want to download.
4. On iPhone: Tap either download icon or share icon at the bottom of the screen for the download method you want to use.
    On Android: Tap either download icon or share icon at the bottom of the screen for the download method you want to use.

Sub device
iPad/Android 1. Tap the Home tab > Keep Memo (the bookmark icon) at the top of the screen.
2. Tap menu icon at the top of the screen > the tab that has the item you want to download.
3. Tap the item you want to download.
4. On iPad: Tap either download icon or share icon at the bottom of the screen for the download method you want to use.
    On Android: Tap either download icon or share icon at the bottom of the screen for the download method you want to use.

Windows/Mac 1. Click Keep Memo (the bookmark icon) at the bottom of the main menu > menu icon.
2. Click either Photos & videos, Files, or Links.
3. Click the item you want to download and do the following based on the item type.
    For Photos & videos: Click either Save icon or share icon at the top of the screen.
    For Files: Click and save the file you want to download.
    For Links: Click Copy icon.

Note: The icons that appear may vary by content.

Sharing photos and videos saved in Keep Memo to other apps You can use this feature on LINE versions aside from LINE for PC (sub device).

1. Tap the Home tab > Keep Memo (the bookmark icon) at the top of the screen.
2. Tap and hold the item you want to share, and then tap Share > Share.
3. Tap Share in other app and select an app to share with.
