What happens if I delete my LINE account/uninstall LINE/change devices/unlink my LINE account from my Yahoo! JAPAN ID?

Important: LYP Premium is offered to users in Japan, while LINE Premium is available to users in Thailand.

For details on what happens when you delete your LINE account, uninstall LINE, change devices, or unlink your LINE account from your Yahoo! JAPAN ID, see the following information.

If you deleted your LINE account:

Be advised

Deleting your LINE account will not automatically cancel your LYP Premium/LINE Premium membership. You need to cancel your membership yourself.

For LYP Premium memberships, deleting your LINE account will also delete your LINE Stickers Premium usage history (such as your plan purchase history and downloaded stickers, emoji, and themes). This data cannot be restored, so please be careful not to delete your LINE account by mistake.

If you uninstall LINE/reinstall LINE after changing devices:
Even if you uninstall LINE or change devices, you can transfer your LINE account and keep the benefits and information of your LYP Premium/LINE Premium membership.

Be advised

If your LYP Premium/LINE Premium membership is inactive when you reinstall LINE and transfer your account, try restoring your membership.

To restore your membership:

On your main device (typically your smartphone)

1. Tap the Home tab > Settings

> LYP Premium/LINE Premium.
2. Tap Restore membership.

On your sub device (typically your tablet)

iPad

1. Tap Settings > LYP Premium/LINE Premium.
2. Tap Restore membership.

Android

1. Tap the Home tab > Settings

> LYP Premium/LINE Premium.
2. Tap Restore membership.

If you unlinked your LINE account from your Yahoo! JAPAN ID (Japan only):
If you unlinked your LINE account from your Yahoo! JAPAN ID, the benefits you will lose access to changes depending on where you joined LYP Premium.

If you joined from the LINE app, you will lose access to the Yahoo! JAPAN benefits. If you joined with Yahoo! JAPAN, you will lose access to the LINE benefits.
